Gulbargaa.. a cool place for a leisurely visit...

Its always adventurous when we (me and my brother - he is the companion for most of my journeys since my childhood) travel to any place. The main reason being, we don't sit and plan for the travel. Its the ad-hoc way of implementation :) :). All of a sudden, out of blue - we decide to travel to a place and banggggggggg!!!!

The mode of journey - can be anything. Time we start our journey - can be any time.. be it early hours or late night. Its just the moment we start :)...


We started our journey to Gulbarga by bus.. and it was all good.. :) we had loads of fun when a fellow-passenger describing about some other place...

As soon as we got down there, we started to the temple(Sharana Basaveswar Temple) in Gulbarga.

The temple was a very old one with a beautiful architecture. And from there we have started to the Famous Dargah at Gulbarga... " దర్గా కదా మాకు టోపీ లేదు అని అక్కడ పూల దుకాణం వాడు టోపీ వేసాడు :):) 30 రూపాయల పూలని 100 కి గిట్టుబాటు చేసాడు :) అయినా మమ్మల్ని మోసం చేసేవాడు లేడు, అందుకే మేమే మా అంతట మోసపోయాం :):) "

but its a very spacious darga with a nice tank/pond/something to store water - where we need to clean ourselves before we get into the darga. A very nice architecture again and you can see that below...

Yes, there you see the upcoming culprit for the darga.. a new plant heading upwards to bring the monument down...


Here they do some puja with some mantra to make a person normal when some soul attacks him/her. We heard some strange sounds there....




From there, we started to another monument (Buddha vihar) near Gulbarga. This is abosolutely pleasant to see and to stay around... We went there by a Jatka and the journey was awesome when we travelled for about more than one hour and on the way we captured another jatka crossing us....My brother got a very nice video of the journey.. here it is...

All in all, it was a pleasant experience and I feel winter will be the right time to visit ( we went during rainy when there was no rain :):) only clouds )

A Beautiful Journey... Getting Close to "Nature in its Natural Form"..

When we sat down on one fine sunday afternoon to discuss about an Outing for Carnites, the only thought I have in my mind is - I am not going to miss it this time. Since childhood, i had a poor record of attending group gatherings with friends. Most of the times I didnt turn up and would drop out for silly reasons. This time - I told myself to change the history.. sorry MyStory :):)...

Listed places during the discussion:

• Ramoji Film City
• Araku
• Some Resort on outskirts of Hyderabad
• Srisailam and so on...
• After so many discussion... and meetings....
• Finally all hearts landed to Araku.

People turned up for the event -- Hardlad,SRK,Rakesh,Sri,Venky,Gopi,Me,Suresh, Ram(Venky's Team)

Me starting for the tour is a big drama!!!! Lot of external factors influenced me to drop out from the trip!!! Somehow, I overcome all of them and Decided that I can start.

No one in the list above share commonality with me.... moreover, I have bitter experiences with most of them once or twice. I do not know to go for this trip will leave sweet memories or bitter ones.

But at the end!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its all gr8 fun!!! The magic did it again -- it is an enthu just to have fun -- the common motto for all...

I left all ill-past in hyd when I started for Araku, Flushed out all idiotic chaos or issues here before starting -- Started my journey!!!

I reached Vizag a day ahead of the team -- mom's request to attend Laxmi puja on Friday-20 August,2010.

21st the journey started in the morning.. As soon as I reached the station, I had a shock there!!!!! waiting for me!!!

Saw Patra, Pavani, Rupa in station. Eyes searched for fourth person also. But heart was completely filled with anguish for not letting me know about the girls visit(was under assumption, that they are also cmg with us). Only thought in mind at that time was - whether to drop or to ignore everything and proceed. Somehow, I made my mind ready for trip and went to train. Stopped a place for all our kothi mooka... :).. so the gang came in and occupied places at their wish. From here, its all fun...

Journey went well with me opening my voice -- infact its not plain opening.. its shouting, crying, whistling, singing etc etc etc.... after a 3 and half hours of journey - after crossing 52 tunnels - with more fun and less boring times, we reached BorraCaves station and as soon as we get down from train, I was happy to see a known face (which I wanted to look for after getting down-as per my plan) Trinath(aka Santhosh). Negotiations done for complete visit of all places.




Places covered:

*^^^^* Water Fall -- Awesome place... Thanks to Rakesh for capturing me in one of the sexiest angles :P :) in water...Played there for about two hours...



*^^^^* Borra Caves - Historical Importance or beauty will not be upto your expectations for the kind of popularity it has. But If you stop at a big banyan tree and wonder for the creation of god, Borra caves have a lot more for you to get astonished!!!

*^^^^* Highest View Point - Araku: A very nice place to stand and wonder at the creation of God for its beauty... we had a nice group photo here. But rakesh had to realize that :):) standing next to SRK is a mistake :):) he looked like kid standing next to SRK.

*^^^^* Chapurai - Soft surface of stone - u just have to wonder again... But my gang had a different focus altogether. Sneha .. Sneha .. Snehaa... :):) (but SRK was saying sruthi :) in Bhrahmi style :):)) I regret for the fact that I missed to see Sneha and couldnt play on water as well :(...

*^^^^* The Trekking Experience - It was a superb experience - I had a very good time with Hardlad as my teammate for trekking. Lot of management theories we have applied there while trekking to succeed in reaching the top quickly. That day again, I had lot off fun and felt like I am still a kid when Rakesh was saying that He won :) :).. Again, thanks to my will, Rakesh, Sri and Hari - and creativity of all.. we had very good pics there.. Watching other hills from a hill top... a wonderful experience..

*^^^^* RK Beach: We played a game (me, rakesh, suresh and hardlad) where a coconut shell will decide who is the best idiot among all of us. Rakesh was first to be picked. Next was Suresh and I was a big idiot as it came to me with so much of affection and love with help of a big wave. :).. But Hardlad proved that he was special as it was afraid to reach him.. NO BODY CAN CATCH HIM :):)

*^^^^* Yarada Beach : A wonderful place to have fun.. not so crowded :).. and I became Anushka, while Sri became Ileana and Hardlad (need to think :P). So many sexy photos were captured and we played like 8year old kids with Ramu sir :) also... Only bitter thing is that: SRK lost his mobile into water, luckily Rakesh traced it but it was late.

*^^^^* Dolphin Nose Hill: We witnessed the vessels journey into the port (natural port). Have our presence recorded with some beautiful snaps.

*^^^^* Shipping/fishing Harbour: A special place to visit... enjoyable places....We missed out the boat ride!!!

*^^^^* RishiKonda: took wonderful snaps including the famous Happydays one. Water is not so deep here, safe place to play in water.

*^^^^* Kailasagiri: Rope way was good and Kailasagiri is always a special place for me. I love it absolutely. We took another group snap to show a proof that we all visited that place :):) and keep in our histories :)

*^^^^* Bang.......... to railway station...


Bitter facts:

:(:( Ramu missed on trekking due to health problem
:(:( Suresh missed visiting Vizag places due to fever
:(:( I missed out the initial part of journey with group ( Hyd to Vizag )

Right through the journey I felt bad for one fact that I missed out my other pals there - Maru, Muthu, Harish.


All in all, It was a wonderful experience with you all my dear friend.. Love you all!!!!

Best plan to visit more places in short time -- Mumbai Darshan.

Few of My Observations:

• South Mumbai - the main city and you dont find any auto-rickshaws here - only Taxis. North Mumbai is sub-Urb and u can find auto-rickshaws. If your auto-fare is Rs.21(on meter), they take Rs.20. Spl discount to all auto users :P:P.


• I have seen only two Indian Girls in Mumbai during my stay of Three Days. I mean :P:P two Girls in Indian Traditional Wear (??).. Chudidars.

• Local Trains Frequency is tooo good and the Crowd is even tooo good. You feel like you got onto an Escalator when you stand at the doors of Train Compartment. Splly when it reaches a station, you need not put any effort to get down from it, by the time train starts ( it stops for 15seconds may be ) you would be on platform.. :-)..

• Its been a Pleasant and Special trip for me..... (H)...It Inspired me to write three pen-downs and two of them being songs....
